Welcome to Knowledge Builders Afterschool Technology Center, a visionary space where creativity meets technology. We are thrilled to announce our latest initiative, an innovative afterschool program designed exclusively for middle school students in the vibrant Cutler Bay area of Miami, Florida called Life, Camera, Action (LCA).    Our mission is to nurture young minds, empowering them to become confident, creative, and capable individuals through hands-on production learning during afterschool hours.  The goal is to transistion middle schoolers from being consumers to postive influencers.

Chapter 1: We believe that every child has untapped potential waiting to be unleashed. Our vision is to be a catalyst for growth and learning, fostering a community of young learners who are passionate about technology and production. By creating a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment, we aim to inspire a generation of future innovators and leaders.

Chapter 2:  LCA is tailored to engage middle school students in the exciting world of production technology. Through carefully curated workshops and hands-on activities, students will explore various aspects of production, including video editing, sound design, graphic design, animation, and more.  Our team of experienced mentors will guide them through the learning process, sparking their creativity and encouraging them to think outside the box.

Chapter 3:  Knowledge Builders is all about fostering a growth mindset, encouraging students to embrace challenges and learn from failures. We understand that every individual learns differently, and that's why LCA is designed to cater to different learning styles. Whether your child is a budding filmmaker, an aspiring graphic designer, or simply curious about technology, they will find their place with LCA afterschool program at our technology center.

Chapter 4: Knowledge Builders afterschool center is equipped with state-of-the-art technology and resources. From top-notch computers with the latest software to high-quality cameras and recording equipment.  Our center provides a professional production environment for our students to be creative and be successful in producting top notch videos.

Chapter 5: LCA builds lifelong skills beyond the technical skills; we emphasizes the development of essential life skills such as teamwork, communication, time management, and problem-solving. We believe that these skills are vital for success not only in the realm of production but also in all aspects of life.

Chapter 6:  Partnering with the community, we firmly believe in the power of community collaboration. As part of our commitment to enriching the lives of our students, we actively partner with local artists, professionals, tv production stations, and industry experts. Through guest lectures, workshops, and mentorship opportunities, we provide our students with valuable insights and exposure to real-world experiences of video production.
