Our Mission
Knowledge Builders of Florida's (KBF) mission is to develop and implement high-quality, innovative, impactful, and measurable programming and services that are outcome-focused, cost-effective, and specifically designed to improve the quality of life of underprivileged children, youth, families, and individuals, within the communities they serve.
KBF's vision is to provide holistic, age-appropriate, innovative, and relevant programing in safe, secure, culturally sensitive, and welcoming environments that support and encourage participant growth in all areas of their lives, while enhancing their economic, emotional, mental, physical, and social well-being. KBF believes that by changing an individual, families change; by changing families, communities change; and by changing communities, the world changes.

Afterschool Program Registration Now Open!
Knowledge Builders is excited to announce open enrollment for our 2025–2026 Afterschool Program and Clubs are designed to inspire, engage, and empower students throughout the school year!
We’re offering three dynamic programs for students across South Dade:

S.M.A.R.T. Kidz Go Green (Grades K–5)
Hands-on, eco-friendly activities that build curiosity, responsibility, and leadership in young learners.

Life, Camera, Action! (Grades 6–8)
A creative and collaborative video production program where students bring their stories to life using real-world media tools.

Bright Idea Paid Pre-Apprenticeship (High School Students)
A career-readiness pathway combining mentorship, hands-on learning, and paid opportunities to prepare teens for future success.

Thanks to the generous funding from The Children's Trust, our Knowledge Builders organization has successfully launched two innovative programs for middle and high school students. In just one year, these programs have empowered countless young minds, sparking creativity, curiosity, and a passion for learning.
